Boredom and not enough interactive socializing is probably the most common reason for most dogs misbehaving. If your puppy doesn't have anything to keep himself busy with, he will keep himself busy, and that usually results in the most unwanted outcomes. Persistent barking is no different. It is a lack of interactive socializing, boredom and no discipline that results in a puppy barking non-stop. So get some toys that can keep him busy and do playful activities together, and most likely the barking will lessen.
