If you want your dog to grow up confident and secure, without excessive anxiety, you should give them lots of social opportunities as puppies.
Dogs need social interaction, and as long as that interaction is positive and playful you will be helping your puppy grow and develop into a happy dog.
You should avoid social activity that causes your puppy distress, and you should avoid forcing your puppy into situations that make him uncomfortable. Social enrichment is only enriching if your puppy is having fun, not when he is afraid.
