Blood cell counts are usually within reference ranges, however ratios of different WBCs were different for sick dogs with and without Addison's disease. In cases of Addison's disease, total WBC count is within reference range, but neutrophile count is lower then normal, while lymphocyte and eosinophile counts were higher. Absolute lymphocyte count of >2000 cells/mcL is very indicative of Addison's, especially when combined with Na:K ratio which is also indicative of this condition.
