CT is more precise than X-rays therefore it is easier to evaluate if there are some lesions in the liver. It is even possible to see neoplasms so small that are not visible in RTG.
It is good equipment that can help surgeon before operation to decide which technique is the best for individual patient and also with CT it is easier to give right prognosis.
