i/d dog food is a good bland diet to offer a dog, particular after a bout of pancreatitis. It is often the first food offered to dogs that have been hospitalized and treated for pancreatitis. I give it a 4/5 for ease of use because some dogs just won't eat it regardless of illness or not. But it still remains a good option to introduce to your dog as he recovers from illness.
It is a prescription diet so you must get it from your veterinarian. Typically if you have had your dog hospitalized for any time your vet will suggest you take some home with you.
