I got three Sugar Gliders from a friend. Two of three were easy to handle, the older male was aggressive and protective of the female. He also fought the younger male often. They were fun animals to own, but high maintenance. Mine didn't like red fruits, they would take a bite of them, stare at them in their hands, and then throw them out of their cage and onto the wall.
2/3 were easy to handle and would happily hang out in the hood of your sweatshirt while you did chores, etc. These pets are not for novice owners. Please take your time to decide if these animals are right for your and your family. They are very active at night and are not appropriate for a bedroom environment.
