Pale Gerbil (Gerbillus perpallidus)

The pale gerbil (Gerbillus perpallidus) or pallid gerbil is endemic to Egypt. This is a sweet little Gerbil Species with big black eyes that it uses to search for its food and evade predators such as snakes and owls at night. They are a fascinating species and very happy in captivity. They are easy to keep and I would recommend keeping them in a larger cage than a hamster or a mouse as they are very active and will appreciate the space. A great pet for apartments or for kids as long as their parents are going to help them look after it. A highly recommended Gerbil species.
