New Zealand Rabbits

When I was in 4-H, I raised rabbits. My New Zealand Rabbits were my favorite. I thought they had a nice look to them with their white fur and red eyes. They are big rabbits and good for their meat and fur. They have large litters of babies, but have no problems raising them all. They make good pets and enjoy the people they know. Young children should be taught the proper handling techniques of rabbits and supervised until they have mastered them. If not handled properly, rabbits can scratch and bite.
