In memory of my brother!

Believe it or not, but my rabbit was almost as sociable and easy-going as my dog. Sometimes I would literally think he was a dog, as he would lay on his stomach with his legs stretched out. He would also often come to me when I called, and he was mostly very active and outgoing. Very playful too. He had no training whatsoever, but like with my dog, I gave him lots of love and respect, which I've always felt is just as important, if not more, than any disciplinary training. He was very healthy for most of his life, and I had him for 5 years before he started developing an eye disease that would eventually cause him so much pain, we had to take him to the doctor and get him put out of his misery. I think he was a proof that if you really take care of your rabbit, it can live for many years (mine was almost 6 when he died). Rest in peace my brother, you will forever be in my heart. A truly great partner and beloved member of my family.
