Sweet Kona

Kona is the third rabbit I've owned. Unfortunately I moved away to college a short time after I got her, so I wasn't able to really socialize her or bond with her. She is a sweet girl, though. Whenever I'm home I go outside and she lets me pet her and get down next to her, as long as I don't try to pick her up. She's not too afraid, even without having bonded to any particular human. She's an outdoor rabbit and enjoys hopping around in our courtyard and laying in the shade. She's the first rabbit I've owned that doesn't dig. Not sure if it's her breed or just her personality, but every other rabbit has dug holes in our yard; Kona doesn't. She is content, healthy, and a sturdy little thing. And of course has a beautiful coat and big floppy ears which I love!

Pros: friendly, cute, low-maintenance
Cons: doesn't like to be picked up or handled other than petting
