Feeding the Ferret

It is best to feed your ferret a raw diet or at least a ferret specific feed. However, Dot came into our life as a rescue. The previous owner didn't know any better and fed her cat food. We tried switching her but, this picky girl was not having it. When she is hungry she will climb to the ends of the earth to get to her cat food. As you can see in the picture above she was determined! Her dad was standing watching T.V. Next thing we know Dot had climbed up the bed post, up dad's back onto his head trying to reach her cat food bag on top of the amour! If her bowl is empty in her cage she will carry it from place-to-place clinking it around until we fill it for her. LIke I said she is one determined ferret!
