In case you don't already know, ferrets stink. They have scent glands that are usually removed in domestic ferrets. Even descented, ferrets stink. They require bathing and frequent litter training. Vet bills for ferrets are pretty high because you have to find a vet that knows how to work with them, and they require aforementioned descenting. Plan on having a large cage and lots of toys. Ferrets are very cute and loving, but make sure you are prepared to spend a significant amount of time and money providing a suitable habitat and keeping it clean.
