Acquired: Pet store

I first didn't know much about rats, but they always fascinated me. So I started learning about them, and finally I got one- Sam, a female. I knew they should not live alone, and my friend I met at University, who lived in that time with me (also fascinated with rats) also got one- Lotta.
We knew we would live only a few years together, and we wanted pets. So we were talking witch pet would fit- and we agreed on one: Rats.
It was great, they live for about 2-3 years and we would not have to choose who gets them when we stop living together.
We got Sam and Lotta in a Pet shop. They were together, witch was great because they were used to each other.
Lotta was a bit shy, but Sam loved the attention and to cuddle. Lotta felt much more secure when Sam was there. So we made sure to always play together with them.
They were both fast learners, they understood what we were teaching them.
I loved Sam so much, she was bringing me joy, and I was happy every time I had to go home. Lotta liked her owner more, maybe she knew that I always loved Sam a bit more.
I would recommend every one to choose pet rats. If they are looking for a pet that needs much attention and love. They make wonderful pets that will fill up your day.
