Feeder Mouse

Fearless was a feeder mouse for my python that he rejected. The two of them sat in the feeding tank for hours before I decided to give up. I made Fearless a house in a critter cage until i could get something bigger for him and he lived on bread and fruits until i could make it to the pet store again.

I find mice to be a bit scary but this mouse was so calm and eager to be held. I actually enjoyed holding him! Fearless was a young mouse and the cage that I had bought him was not suitable for such a small mouse as he could fit through the bars so I kept in in the critter cage.

About a week later he started acting weird, heavy breath and laying on his back like he was dead, even though the cage was well ventilated and he had fresh food and water. I felt really terrible for him and decided that if he was going to die he should be able to run free in the world for once in his life. I went into the back of the apartment complex where there was lots of trees and let him run off.
