A mouse is a mouse. I suppose that looking back on owning mice, I'd have probably thought that it was another no-interaction rodent in the house. One that I would intentionally feed rather than chase away. I was wrong, and I'm not sure why.

I did have a few mice, but one in particular that I named Ralph for reasons that now escape me, managed to charm me. Something about the little fellow posting up in my hand and hanging out fascinated me, and I found myself rather attached to him.

Never once did he bite anyone, or even so much as attempt to run off. He was perfectly content in his cage, or in my hand when I got the urge to hold him. I suppose what I'm driving at is that while you might be like me and think that it's just a rodent, you may well be surprised to find out how charming the little guys can be.
