I had three Chinese hamsters. Two of them lived together, Elephant Male Age 3, and Gorilla Male Age 2. My little cousins Maxine and Derek named them. Then, I fostered one named Georgia Female Age 2. Elephant was my favorite because he was realy funny and he would do funny things, but none of them socialized well. Georgia was the worst. An animal shelter asked me to take care of her and some of her brothers and sisters. One of their hamsters came in pregnant. All of her brothers and sisters got adopted and she didn't. I took care of her for her first year of life while the hamsters cleared out. They finally asked for her back. Gearogia was very aggressive over her food and water. She wouldn't even let me put a treat in her bowl when there was food in it. I barely ever got to hold her because she wouldn't let me. She was actualy very ugly to me. She was actualy albino and ended up very fat. She was the runt of her litter when born. I guess that effected her growth. Georgia never exercised and hated her ball and wheel. A year after she was put back in her animal shelter, they called me. I was feeding twin foster foals from a bottle. I picked up my cell and they told me they had bad news. Georgia died in her sleep. She was never adopted. That night I cried. I felt so bad for not spending more time with her.
