Acquired: Breeder (non-professional, hobby breeder)

We have had a lot of different breed of rabbits over the years, but this has always been one of our favorites. We currently only have two rabbits for the grandchildren to pet and hold when they come out. When the rabbits see the kids they get all excited and come to the edge of the pen.
Our rabbit pens have always been on the ground so the rabbits can dig. I take and dig a trench around the border of the pen and bury 4 foot chain link in the ground with only the last row of wire sticking out to tie to the above ground fence to. It has made for happy rabbits and we have never had one escape.
It also makes it where the kids can go in the pen and pet the rabbits without having to get them out of a cage.
These are very friendly rabbits and I would recommend them to anyone. They are very prolific breeders and grow rapidly. We have always found a ready market for these rabbits.
