Thumper

Thumper was given to us after many years of 4-H training with his previous owner. He wasn't all that social, and while he didn't necessarily disklike being held, he preferred to hop around. He was very strong in his back legs. Often he would try to hop out of my hands, especially if I wasn't holding him correctly. He had been trained to use a harness, and we enoyed "walking" him around the yard. American Rabbits are rather large, so I would recommend one for older children or adults if you plan on having it as a pet and want to handle it often. A plus is that they are fairly easy to take care of.
