This is one of the most independent animals I have ever owned. I just made sure it had food, water and shelter and it was always very healthy and active. They are very easy to pet and will normally be very friendly with people. You can feed hem cabbage, carrots, lettuce and always keep some water around too. Just like most other animals you should make sure that they never run out of water. These are very active animals that need to hydrate as much as possible after too much activity.

If you have dogs you need to make sure that they interact with the rabbit enough so that they don’t see it as an enemy. They should bond from an early age. Rabbits are very rarely aggressive but they are known to bite if they are not having good day. I took my share of bites from one that I owned, but it was nothing that painful. They are generally very playful and calm animals that you kids of all ages can touch and handle without any worry.

I recommend this particular pet for all kids and adults alike. They don’t require high maintenance and their care is also very affordable.
