Nibbies was only a few months old when we bought him from Petsmart. He was in a cage by himself because he didn't like other Guinea Pigs.
He didn't mind being picked up or rubbed on, but if you held him too long, he would burrow into your elbow area and bite you until you let him down.
Feeding him was as easy as a bowl full of food every morning, fresh water morning and night, and a few treats throughout the day.
The habitat was a simple large square cage, with a plastic bottom and a wire top. Fill it with bedding and the guinea pig is good to go.
Our guinea pig loved alfalfa and banana chips. He preferred a food that had a variety of packed food, hay, flavored bits, and seeds.
If you let his area get too full of poop, he would begin to kick bedding all over the area outside of his cage.
Sweet critters with a cute face and a lot of fun to watch and listen to. They chirp.
