I got Coco and her sister Suzee together from a family who couldn't take care of them anymore. After getting them I saw why. They require fresh fruit and veggies everyday and after the food and cage keeping up costs they got quite expensive. I was spending more money keeping them fed and happy then I was me and my son every week. The bedding for their cage and food was costing about $80 a week. I loved them but they were expensive. I love how they talk to you in their little squeak and trill language and how they would follow you everywhere. They would start their trilling and whistles when they heard you getting food out of the fridge when they knew it was mealtime. My son loved to hold them and cuddle them. They are very easy to love animals. Smaller than a cat but bigger than a regular rodent type pet, they were the perfect size for a small apartment.
