East-African Green Mamba - Dendroaspis angusticeps

The East-African Green Mamba is an exquisite slender green snakes. They are highly venomous and completely arboreal snakes. The are only found within 3 km from the ocean and live mainly on the coastal sand dunes on the eastern coast line of southern and central East Africa. They do very well in captivity and can be easily weaned onto fuzzy mice from hatchlings. They make a great display snake for advanced venomous snake keepers and are truly magnificent snakes to look at. I would only recommend this snake to those with a many years experience with venomous snakes. Highly venomous. Having antivenom available is a must.
