My life with a turtle

By

Posted Dec 23, 2014

My brother bought as an assignment from school, to start a small acquarium, but the turtle couldn't live there because she ate the fish, so my brother took her back home and we adopted her.
It was a very friendly pet, very active, she swam a lot and when we took her out of the fishtank she'd walked a lot. We used to pet her a lot and she just stayed in our hand relaxed and visible, she never hid from us. She was a very beautiful turlte, and very friendly, we loved that about her.
But it was very difficult to take care of her, they require very specific envionmental set. The right amount of water in the right temperature, preparing her space required a lot of time and dedicacion. Also, it was very hard to feed her, she didn't eat much and only took food if it was given directly to her mouth.
It was a lovely experience because she was very lovely, but they are hard to keep, it was a lot of work and care, and their health is very fragile.
