The Prehensile -Tailed Skink is a fascinating and somewhat peculiar skink that can hang from its tail in trees. What more do you need to know? These skinks are awesome to keep and make for incredible display animals. I would recommend that only advanced keepers keep these for various reasons. They require a large amount of cage, Artificial UV lighting, heating especially in colder countries as they are a tropical jungle species. Prehensile-tailed skinks are strictly herbivorous, eating only plant matter. They are the only completely herbivorous species of skink in the world. Dark leafy vegetables such as collard and mustard greens, kale and red tip leaf lettuce are good for a dragon, as are alfalfa pellets, clover, parsley, and broccoli, green beans, peas, squash, grated carrots and sweet potatoes. They also love sweet potatoes. Spinach and iceberg lettuce are not suitable to feed to this species. A highly recommend species. Only for EXPERT KEEPERS.
