Ok so apart from being highly venomous and not being an animal for beginners, this is one of the most amazing and unusual lizards on the planet. Their skin is my favourite part about them They are covered in beaded scales and are such sweet lizards, but yes once again very much venomous. They are great lizards to keep and interact with and can get very tame in captivity. I would still not free handle these lizards as they are a bit bitey at times and I wouldn't recommend this lizard as a pet. Their care is very easy and they do very well on calcium supplemented pre killed mice. An amazing species and well worth the price breeders ask for. THey live exceptionally long and I have worked with specimens that are now more than 30 years old and still alive so take that into account before purchasing one.
