A Cute Godzilla

My son was begging me for a reptile pet. We did some research and decided on a green iguana. I did not want a reptile that we would have to feed mice or bugs. We purchased a young one from our local pet store. We also bought a large tank, bedding, light with a UV bulb and calcium supplement.
We named him Godzilla; corny but it seem to fit him. He loves his veggies; collard greens, squash, spinach and turnip greens. We don’t give him a lot of fruit because it upsets his stomach. He also enjoys hibiscus flowers. Godzilla likes to be handle and has a very inquisitive personality. Occasionally he like to swim in the bathtub.
He was supposed to be my son’s pet, but he has grown on the rest of the family. Godzilla is a great family pet, we look forward to the years ahead with him.
