Acquired: Wild caught / rehabilitation animal

These are one of the look but don't touch skinks so while they can be lightly handled, I never really suggest it for very long. They're very pretty though and make fantastic animals to have in your living room or office since they're interesting when they do come out of hiding. Which, honestly, isn't all that often. Since they're smaller they can live happily in a 20 gallon tank which is nice. Lots of humidity for these guys and they do like places to hide and things to do. For my tank I ended up creating a little forest type of area and the tank was still attractive even when the skink couldn't be seen at all.
