Fire Skinks are fairly docile and like to stay hidden. They shy away from movement and light very frequently. You can train them to be handled, if your going to try start from a young age if possible. When they are young they're all pretty mean, which isn't too bad considering their bites don't hurt. They don't grow to big and have small appetites.
