If you want a huge reptile that can be your friend this is the one. I'd pick one of these over a Green Iguana any day. They have an overall better temperment.which is great considering they grow 3 feet. They don't have a tendency to climb on top of all your furniture either when they get big. They are very content with staying in a few places. They love dark vegetables, and fruit. You can feed them worms occasionally, but if your going to take them outside it'll get his supplemental insect intake. One great thing about Egyptian Uromastyx is that they can adapt to just about any climate except for high humidity. Where I live in Virginia they are very prone to shedding problems because of the subtropical environment. So it is imperative that where you live has moderate or low humidity.
