We found our snapper wandering the streets of town farrrrr from water, we never really figured out where he came from. But instead of finding some water for him my brother decided to bring him home.

He was barely bigger than the size of a 50 cent piece when we got him but we decided to get him his adult cage right away, we went to the feed supply store and got a horses water trough for him. We put his enclosure out on our lanai which was a great decision because well, he didn't smell great. The trough needed to be cleaned quite often though and that was always interesting because you'd have to take him out for it.

He wasn't friendly, was kinda aggressive and didn't really do anything interesting. So, if you want a boring pet who will bite you but looks cool then a snapper could be the one for you!
