Leonardo The Snapping Turtle

As a kid I was a huge Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan so I decided I wanted a pet turtle. One day after the may rains in Texas I found a stray turtle on the road. I captured it and put it into a fish aquarium with sand and a little pool.

The turtle was easy to take care of and provide for I fed him worms that I either bought at Walmart or went out and sourced. While the turtle was fun to look at he was not much fun as a pet.

Being he was a snapping turtle he was really colorful. That is when he'd poke his head out of the shell. He didn't like to be touched or handled at all. For looks these are great pets for interaction not so much.
