I received my turtle from a close friend, as he had to move at the time. The turtle I had received was very down to earth, and was very relaxed when being handled. He had a very easy time adjusting to the new habitat that I had provided when I was given him, and had no trouble getting used to being fed and handled by me, who was previously unknown to him. Although my turtle was not the most active creature, he was always open to being held and handled. The habitat itself was a very simple display, with a 10 gallon tank purchased from a pet store to allow for optimal room, as well as some extra environmental pieces such as rocks and logs. My turtle was very healthy and rarely ever encountered problems with it's health. My overall experience with my turtle was very enjoyable. Even though turtles may seem to be very boring creatures, if you can find a turtle that isn't very finicky and can be handled easily, there is always fun to be had with your pet turtle.
