My Snakey

My Peligrosa (affectionately called Snakey) was a pretty lovable snake. She was rather docile and would let you carry her around just about anywhere, in your clothes, backpack, pocket...
She never fussed about food, she would happily eat the mice, and baby chickens I'd get for her at the pet store.
Her growth rate was moderate so I only had to change her habitat size twice during the time I had her. She never required excessive cleaning or attention as long as the temperature was right and there was fresh water and a hiding place, so taking care of her was a breeze and totally fit my lifestyle at the time, as I was busy studying and in extra curricular activities.
When she was about 2 years old she got quite aggressive around mating season, but usually at any other time of the year it would be no problem to pick her up out of her aquarium and play with her.
Another note on the temperature control: I live in a tropical country so the temperature her is pretty much already ideal for rainbow boas, making my life that much easier.
I really loved my Snakey and still miss her sometimes. I gave her to my good friend who is a snake breeder when she was about 3 years old. I knew she was in good hands though.
