Acquired: Online breeder / seller

I bought my Chinese Water Dragon from a local breeder when he was a hatchling. He ate crickets, mealworms, and some veggies too. I also provided a pool of water that he could bathe and drink from.
As he grew up so did his food, he now eats larger prey items like mice, fish, and roaches. Waxworms are still OK but mealworms are definitely too small.
Chinese water dragons are amazing lizards with a docile personality. They need large cages, with all the correct kit (heating lamp and a large vivarium) so I wouldn't recommend them as a beginners lizard, rather an intermediate exotic pet!
