Intrigued by their posing...

I first saw this amazing species posed on the seat of a motorcycle in Westwood and knew nothing about them, not even their name. After some inquiries I found one at the local pet store (I normally avoid pet stores) and loved the short time it was with me. Easy to keep, a few feeder goldfish in her swimming bowl. It was quite comfortable or appeared to be with being handled and posed on a shoulder while walking. Yes, quite a conversation starter as they are less common that iguanas. In fact, if you've wanted an iguana but was unsure about your ability to commit to the care required, a water dragon may be a great choice. I really found nothing negative about my experience.
