It's definitely not a chameleon

My parents got me Ollie the anole because I'd asked for a chameleon. They done goofed.

I know, chameleons are expensive, and an anole at the time cost about 87 cents. But is an anole a chameleon? Nope.

The guy at the pet store said that anoles also change color to blend in to their surroundings. I found this to be significantly less true than advertised. Again, this is not a chameleon.

All that being said, Ollie, and his eventual companion Ann, was a fun little pet to have. Watching it go after crickets was way more fun than I imagined. The little hot rock and heat lamp were easy to set up, the astro turf mat in the terrarium was super easy to clean, and I had 2 lizards. I should have been happier about it, but again, anole and chameleon? NOT THE SAME THING.
