My lil baby BRB Beetlejuice is easily the most gorgeous snake I own and he will continue to just get more impressive as he grows. Generally they aren't massively aggressive snakes, and you should probably be prepared to be bitten by them when they are babies. But like with most snakes, consistant and correct handling with turn them into lovely pets. They do get relatively large, adults reaching up to 9 ft, so be prepared to have a large enclosure. You shouldn't start off with a large viv as a tiny baby might be overwhelmed. As adults they will be eating large rats, so can get quite expensive (compared to a smaller snake). They need a large water bowl, and some sort of moss box. At the moment Beetlejuice has a old cricket tub with moist kitchen towl in it, but as he grows I will probably use a tupperware with sphagnum moss. They have good appetites and don't usually fail to eat all their dinner, and can be a little bit aggressive around feeding time. Generally tho, they are beautiful stunning amazing snakes and make a brilliant addition to any home :)
PS make sure its a BRAZILIAN rainbow boa you get, not COLUMBIAN. Columbians are much duller in color and slightly smaller.
