Timor monitor - Varanus timorensis

The Timor monitor (Varanus timorensis) is a small and intelligent lizard. Much like their larger cousins they are clever and extremely fast hunters. They are fun to interactive and can tame down very well if you keep them correctly and provide them with a lot of love and care. They are ferocious feeders and will eat anything that smells like meat. They do very well on pre killed mice with a calcium supplement and vitamin supplement. I would recommend this species to intermediate and advanced keepers. They are amazing lizards to keep.
