Tip for beardy owners!

I have a bearded dragon. His claws get so long, and trimming them is a bit of a hassle and honestly, a little annoying. Luckily, I figured out a trick! I went to the hardware store and bought some rough surfaced tiles and placed them on half of his terrarium. When he walks on them, it files his claws down!
This is probably one of the best ideas I’ve ever had, since it offers more benefit than the original intended purpose. Not only do the tiles file his claws down to a safe length while allowing him to continue gripping his climbing branches, but they are also very easy to clean. When he does his business, I just pick up the tile, wash it off, and place it back in. An added bonus, I bought a dark colour, so they heat up nicely. He loves sunning on them. Truly a great (and inexpensive) investment!
