Bearded Dragons: Do they make good pets?

I had an experience with a bearded dragon at an experience centre a number of years back, it's cheeky charm and boldness won me over quickly and it wasn't long until I got my own juvenile "beardie" of my own.

Draco is a male Adult now and has been a part of my life for in excess of 5 years and he's practically part of the furniture!

Bearded Dragons are naturally social creatures and so his vivarium is situated in our living room, he is always giving visitors cheeky looks and waving at them, of course you have to wave back!

They are easy to spot clean and full clean, their temperament (so long as you get them from early age and handle often like myself) is very gentle. The only drawback is that the vivs are generally expensive and the livefood can be a bit pricey. But every penny is worth it for their fantastic charm.
