Achilles the Dragon

Bearded dragons are interesting lizards to keep around as they look cool, but they don't do cool things. The "beard" are the spines around its neck, which aren't really sharp, but it's fun to feel and pet that area. The thing with Bearded Dragons, at least with mine, is that they can get spooked easily. One minute they're resting on your arm, and the next they jolt off like lightning. A bit annoying, but nothing I couldn't handle. The tank has to be tailored the lizard as well. It needs to be arid and dry, and it'll definitely need a heating rock/pad for it to rest on. Besides holding it and maybe petting it, there's nothing else that the Bearded Dragon can offer. Achilles has no personality, but maybe other Bearded Dragons have one. If you're enthusiastic about lizard species, this would be for you. Otherwise, give it a pass.
