Log Data. We may receive, store, and process log data, which is information that is automatically recorded by our servers whenever you access or use the Site, regardless of whether you are registered as a member with RightPet or logged in to your RightPet member account, such as your IP Address, the date and time you access or use the Site, the hardware and software you are using, referring and exit pages and URLs, the number of clicks, pages viewed and the order of those pages, and the amount of time spent on particular pages.
Mobile Data. When you use certain features of the Site, we may receive, store, and process different types of information about your location, including general information (e.g., IP address, zip code) and more specific information (e.g., GPS-based functionality on mobile devices used to access the Website or specific features of the Site). If you access the Site through a mobile device and you do not want your device to provide us with location-tracking information, you can disable the GPS or other location-tracking functions on your device, provided your device allows you to do this. 3. How We Secure Your Data
All of your personal information is protected and we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managementprocedures to safeguard and secure the data we collect. Your information is stored on secure cloud databases, internal servers, and on third party softwares. We use firewalls to protect our servers and no sensitive information is allowed to be copied to any portable media from printers and end points. Your information is only accessible by employees who have authorised access rights to such information.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Site; any transmission is at your own risk. If you are a registered RightPet member, you can modify your account information at any time by accessing your Account Settings page. You can close your account by clicking “Deactivate your account” on your Account Settings page. We will send you a confirmation email with a link that you must click in order to close your account permanently. When you close your account, any content you have contributed to the Site will no longer be displayed with your member name, and will instead display as being contributed by "Formerly a member."
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
5.1 Parties with whom we share your information
We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. The following third parties may have access to your personal information.
Facebook. As we mentioned above, if you choose to log in to the Site with Facebook, then Facebook will provide us with some of your basic profile information (such as your name, email and login details).
Internal Tools. We use email, Basecamp, and cloud tools like Google G-Suite to transfer data within our organisation.
Search Engines. The Site allows your public profile and Your Content to be included in third-party search engines, in which case your public profile and Your Content will be indexed by search engines and may be published as search results.
The only other circumstances under which we would share your personal data are:
If the third party is a member of our group (which means any subsidiaries or ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006).
In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.

You may choose to share any information, photographs, reviews, scores, discussion comments, pet matches or other content that you voluntarily submit to the Site either on public forums and public areas of the Site or within your private messages to other members. Such data will become available and viewable by other users as controlled by any applicable privacy settings that you define. Once you have shared your content or made it public, that content may be re-shared by others.
You may opt out of receiving messages from other members. In addition, you may opt out of receiving certain messages from RightPet by changing your notification settings on your Account Settings page, or by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of an email message.
If you choose to connect to social media networks from the our Site or post any of your content on our Site to those networks, then in accordance with your social media privacy settings, the personal information that you post, transmit, or otherwise make available on the social media platform may be viewed and/or used by other users of those networks and we have no control over such viewing and use and cannot prevent further use of such information by third parties. When you interact with us through social media networks, you acknowledge that we may access your information that is held by that account, solely in accordance with your social media privacy settings. Any links to social media are not under our control and remain solely your responsibility. You acknowledge that any information posted via social media through our Site, or any third party you allow to access your content, is done entirely at your own risk and that by posting to a public platform you make that information visible to third-parties who can use that information at their discretion.
You may review, modify, update, correct or remove any personal data you have submitted to the Site at any time. If you remove information that you posted to the Site, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the Site, or if other users or third party APIs have copied or saved that information.
