. These cuddle-bunnies couldn't be kinder. If a boxer is taken care of (just like with any other dog), they'll grow into these super mushy, extremely loyal dogs who want nothing more than to nap on your lap. <br><br>They're very active and love running around outside, though they're also content to hang out on a couch. They usually do a good job matching the energy levels of their owner. This boxer doesn't bark, though he will stay close to his family while on walks, especially the children. I'm not sure if they turn out to be very careful around children because humans that own them are more aware of the stereotype and thus are more strict with them, but they will literally treat children like they're made of glass. <br><br>If you want a dog that really needs the love a family can off, you can find a ton of boxers (along with pitbulls) at your local shelter. They may look scary, but they're really filled with love and kindness. Just make sure to ask about the history of the dog you're adopting. . <br><br>There's a risk they'll scratch your furniture, so if you're really attached to your stuff, then you might want to think about getting another pet. You could try to look at your local shelter for a cat that's already been declawed (but I definitely wouldn't recommend doing it to a cat who still had its claws). They also shed on everything--if you get a cat, invest in less black.<br><br>I'd highly recommend this animal to someone who works a lot and needs a pet that can take care of itself during the day and wants to cuddle at night--they won't disappoint you!){kind=link}
. <br><br>They make great pets for kids or those who are on a budget, since they're pretty cheap to own. They make great college pets or great apartment pets--just be ready for a hamster that has the likely chance of being sick if you get it from a pet shop.){kind=link}
