This poor dog had been abused my college students and used as their "mascot." My dad knew the dog was for him after the dog bit him. Why he ever brought the dog home, I don't know, but Baby became a very interesting part of our family. <br> Because of the abuse Baby suffered, he wasn't the kindest or gentlest dog; however, he did make leaps and bounds as he aged. Although he was never overly kind to strangers, he was very loyal to him family. <br> Baby and my dad formed a very strong bond, and my dad was the only one who could pick Baby up and flip him around. Baby would wag his tail and lick my dad's face whenever they played like this. <br> Baby didn't really care for our other three dogs; but he did like the cats. He and the cats would stare at each other for hours and have silent conversations.<br>Baby was the most difficult dog to deal with at times, but he could be a real sweetheart. <br> One day, the neighbor's dog had escaped their yard and the dog and Baby got into a nasty fight. Baby survived the fight, but was severely injured and we had to put him down. Even though his beginning and end were unbelievably sad, the life he lived with us was a happy one.){kind=link}
, and she'd make eye contact with me while she was doing it. It was both amusing and annoying. <br> She slept at either my feet or head every night, and always loved to cuddle. When Molly was five she had disappeared for a few days and when she returned she was injured and her temperament was completely changed. We had to put her down, and it was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. Such a beautiful spirit deserved a much longer life. I know I will never find another cat like my pretty Molly girl.){kind=link}
