. Our boy was great with kids and generally pretty good with other animals although he would occasionally try to pick a fight with another dog, usually one twice his size. The dachshund is a great small dog with a big heart and so much charm that you just can't help but love them.){kind=link}
.<br> As soon as we moved from our apartment to a house in a village, the Maine Coon started to disappear and now only returns to the house sporadically for food and to catch up on sleep. The long coat requires quite a lot of maintenance and this is not easy to keep up with on a cat that likes to be outdoors so much. Of course, I love my cat despite her somewhat testing personality but I don't think that this was the best breed choice for me and wouldn't have another Maine Coon.){kind=link}
. Bostons are adorable to look at, low maintenance and quite trainable so definitely worth considering if you are looking for a small breed.){kind=link}

Our "bully" was not the best behaved dog and was drummed out of puppy classes for bad behaviour; I would say that they are not a breed for an inexperienced dog owner. Our particular dog was not great with other dogs and could be a fighter if not kept under control. Having said that, with people (children in particular) and in the home, he was an angel forever entertaining us with his antics and full of love. Bull terriers don't enjoy the best reputation but with the right owner they are the most wonderful dogs. Our bully died several years ago and we still laugh about some of his exploits so if you are prepared to put in a lot of work with training and are able to really be your dog's master, I would definitely say this breed is worth considering.){kind=link}
