This was not meant to be a pet. It was not bred for temperment. I did a lot of research and tried to train it, but my family had such a busy schedule and frequently went away for the weekend and by the time we came back it was as if Bambi didn't recognize us. <br><br>To train a rabbit you need to be there A Lot. They need their enclosures cleaned at least once a day to prevent the smell from killing you and they need frequent socialization and handling. Then can be great pets, but if you don't have the time to devote, don't see a cute bunny in the store and bring it home with you. <br><br>I think the daily need to clean and their quiet nature would make a rabbit a good training pet to show children how much care an animal needs, but only if after the child get's tired of it, you are able to step in an be the right owner or find someone that is.){kind=link}
.<br><br>The cons were that she would scratch us if we bothered here when she didn't want to be bothered. <br><br>As far as a family pet goes, she was great for teaching us to be respectful and kind to animals and teaching that if we weren't nice she wouldn't be nice. <br><br>I would recommend a cat to families with children 4 and older, as companions and as teaching tools for teaching respect and love for all animals.){kind=link}
