She hopped up our driveway one day and made herself right at home. Without knowing her history she seemed to be friendly and tame. We lived in an apartment and she quickly adapted to litter training and crate training. While home we gave Sweet Pea the run of the place, she would hop about and was quite social. We also had a cat and after awhile it became apparent that Sweet Pea was being terrorized by the cat when we were not closely watching. For this reason we rehomed her and she continued to do well as a house pet.<br>If you are thinking of having a bunny as your pet please remember they are small and fragile. Do not leave them alone with other animals that may treat them like prey. Provide a clean draft free cage, "bunny proof" your home by getting down to their level and inspecting all items that may be tempting to chew. Cords can be hazardous and should be kept off limits.<br>Handle your bunny often, give treats and read up on proper rabbit care and socializing.
