. Like all cats she had trouble getting down once she was up there and we had to come to her rescue. One day she was missing for a few hours and one of my kids heard a sound coming from the neighbors tree. It was her of course and we had to help her down.<br>She also enjoyed climbing our wooden fence and walking along the top like a Queen surveying her kingdom. But it was climbing into the wheel wells of cars that got her in the most trouble. Once our friend came for a visit and then called us when she got home asking if we were missing our cat. Come to find out she had hitched a ride home in the wheel well! <br>We believe this is also how she went missing. We lived near a church and let her out one Wednesday night before the people had left to go home. Unfortunately we never saw her again :( <br>To this day the kids wonder if every tuxedo cat they see is her! I would strongly recommend this breed.){kind=link}

He also learned to pray, dance like a bear, and our favorite 'seek the face of God' where he would roll on his back and put his paws over his face!<br>Shadow was an extremely playful puppy and good lap dog as he aged. After getting him my wife and I began to have kids and he never had any issues with jealousy. <br>The only negatives were his stubbornness, coat care, and excitability. There were times he would hide under the couch and not come out until he wanted to. Once as a puppy he got loose from the house and made me chase him around the entire perimeter of our 3 acre lot! <br>His long coat required constant grooming which at times was a chore. And then there was the excitability issue. Whenever we left him in the house while we were gone we had to ignore him when we came home and let him out. Otherwise he would great us with a tinkle :)<br>He lived to be over 15 years old and set the standard for our family's pets. While poodles can be temperamental the Schnauzer in him offset this and Shadow was a very stable dog.){kind=link}
