Tornado
is a nearly three year old, beautiful, silvery, grullah steer. He is
very gentle, has a very good mind and a very willing attitude. He has
a been in training since October 2011 and already has been receiving
quite a lot of public exposure and seasoning. He has been ridden
with other steers and horses on trail rides, and loves to be the
center of attention. You can already ride him away from the herd, to
a certain degree, then if you lead him, he will follow just fine. He
has good ground manners, especially around children, and will not
kick or be “pushy”.

By
the picture, you can see that Tornado rides very well for this early
stage of his life. He flexes readily, turns on a dime, and stops on
command. He is out in public on a regular basis now and making steady
progress as a Photo-Op Steer. The kids just think he is so pretty,
due to his odd coloring.

We
think that Tornado will become a fine Lead steer in the future. He
gets along with all other animals, doesn't like confrontation, and
seems to always walk away from it. Memorial Day weekend was his
first parade. He is purebred Texas Longhorn..and PROUD OF IT!
