We inherited a sheep when we moved to a farm in the middle of the Phoenix, Arizona. Elizabeth was already older, and was there as solely a pet. She ate the grass and was the queen bee of the backyard. She was playful, but very calm. She would let my baby cousin sit on her while she walked around.

One thing to note about sheep, NEVER leave feed lying around. Sheep are not intelligent and when given the opportunity will not stop eating until there's nothing left. Poor Elizabeth pushed herself into the barn and stumbled upon a 50 lb bag of feed and ate herself to death. She would have survived had she not then drank water.
